Sad, but true---

I love these Canadian billboards. But, this is really very sad!

I don't honestly know what's sadder Kacey-the fact that it's way too true or that to get the point across, the billboard was put up.

I think that billboard is a joke. If you go to that dribbleglass website, you'll see a bunch of silly billboards under the heading, "Billboards we would like to see." I think it's a photoshop thing.

True, however, that some parents will do anything do avoid spending quality time with their youngsters. They even have DVDs that you can play for toddlers, or even younger if I recall correctly.

Dear Kacey...Dave may be right, but how I wish it were so - that a billboard like this did exist to tell the lazy parents of the world to do their jobs. Can you imagine a world without Beethoven? Mozart? Leonardo da Vinci? - What if someone had squelched their passions and energy with drugs because to challenge their intellect would be just too much work.

Yes, I do have some experience in this area...and again, I wish this buildbard were so...

Kacey.
It's the absolute truth as I know it. I know 'way' too many mothers who will go to 3 or 4 doctors till they find one will agree to give their child Ritalin! Not only to satisfy the parent but the teacher as well.
I'm sure your daughter can tell you stories of children who are on Ritalin who don't really need it....it's the parents who do!
Most of the time their over-active child needs a change in menu.
Change what they eat...and you change the child.
Oooh! It makes me so angry!
