The Deer at Dusk
About three minutes before eight, right after a fierce rainstorm, there were four deer ambling about on the golf course right outside our deck. I had hardly any battery in the camera and couldn't find the zoom button without my glasses, so the pictures are lousy. But, you can see two of them dead center of the picture across the fifth fairway. Double left click on the picture and you can almost see them. One was eating bird seed out of a neighbor's feeder. I guess having to come home to Ohio early from Florida has it's perks. The next thing will be the Forsythia and Flowering Plum trees. Spring is bursting out all over! Welcome!

Kacey,
That dessert looks so good! What a great idea! I'm sorry you lost most of your sense of smell...actually that could be a good thing in a way!
I have no idea why you lost your comments...but I'm glad to see you back posting!
I see the deer. Were they looking to play through?
Looks about as wet there as it is here in Michigan.
Yep, I can see the deer! I'm so glad that your unplanned trip to Ohio has paid off, and most importantly, you survived your procedure!!!!!
And your dessert story sounds so familiar to me- except in my cases, I don't toss it down the disposal- I take it anyway just to prove that I tried!
I'm so glad you're back blogging again!
Hugs,
Betty
How amazing to live so near a golf course!
Photos - there was no flash in the mirror because I didn't use the flash. Hence the rather (mercifully!) shadowy picture.
Sorry to hear of your medical problems and sudden, premature return to brrrr weather! My daughter lives in Ohio also and was ready for spring a month ago! Hope you'll be feeling better soon...Laughed at the dessert fiasco...sounds like something I would do!
Beautiful! Thanks for the encouragment!
