We Never Forget
Courtney would have been twenty-three today. So much has happened in that time, but we never forget that for today, we had hope for her. My daughter and son-in-law were great parents, but they were not destined to hold her here on Earth for very long. I will always be grateful for the courage and faithfullness of my children in caring for my granddaughter during her nine and a half years here. She lives with God and we never forget her.

*Light* to Courtney's memory, Kacey...
Sounds like your diet is going good so far. Slow but steady usually does it, maybe 1 pound a week, 2 if you're walking a LOT...
I'd send my hubbie to the doctor for a blood test, and get a presecription to to up his testosterone levels -- and quilt a little bit less !! hee-hee...
That's one of the best benefits of a good marriage!
Hope you have a good weekend, Kacey !
Kacey,
I believe the angels that come into our lives are with us always.
I feel the spirits of my brothers with me daily as I go about my work.
That's a wonderful family pic. Courtney will always be in your hearts and on your minds.
Have a great weekend.
Hi on Saturday, Kacey ! How are you today ?
I already blew my diet yesterday... sigh. Okay, today is a new day... I know WHAT to do, it's just doing it that seems to require a more disciplined mind set than I have rght now... Maybe I'll have to take a polaroid picture -- that might just be scary enough to keep me in line !
How much weight do you still want to lose ? Is Hubby sticking to his diet as well ? Sometimes encouragement helps, even if the fridge just has celery sticks and chicken breasts in it !
You commented 8 times on my blog last month - thank you !!! (I'm doing the Sunday 'thank you's and apreciation' again tomorrow...)
*Hugs*
Kacey, I am touched by this post!
They say the light that shines the shortest burns twice as bright. It may be somewhat cliche, but I think it relates here. That's such a great family picture too.
Happy Sunday Kacey ! How are you doing ?
You commented on my blog 8 times last month -- THANK YOU !!!
Hope all is well with you and those you love --
*smiles and cyber-hugs*
Kacey, didn't know until now that you were up and posting again! Glad to see you back so I can visit. Beautiful post, I feel for your loss. Lost a sister when I was 4 and she was 3-still feel the hole now 45+ years later.\
Dear Kacey,
Thank you for sharing the beautiful story of Courtney's life and the memory of her which lives as strong as ever. She was a true gift to your family.
Hugs,
Betty
