Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

There's no place like home for the holidays, but our Ohio home (where our hearts and children are) is knee deep in snow and ice. Being just a little older than dirt, we finally got the okay from the doctors, packed up the car and beat it out of Ohio just about six hours ahead of the ice storm. Now, we have blue skies, sunshine and white sand by the mile. Admittedly, my tree is way less than I approve of, but the weather makes up for the deficit. For all the bloggers in bloggityville, enjoy your Christmas preparations --- I'll think of you when I see the weather reports on The Weather Channel. Meantime---let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! I'm dreaming of your white Christmas.

Kacey,
I'm happy to hear you made it out there! Time to enjoy Florida after the horrible, terrible year you have had. I'm hoping the New Year brings you a year filled with health, hope and happiness!

I seriously thought about going to Florida myself to cheer on my Wolverines in Orlando there. Or even the MSU Spartans, so desperate I am to leave the snow and cold behind.

Hea, what's the deal with that buckeye-brained ESPN pundit (Herbstreit) probably blowing our chances here of getting Les Miles as coach? It's a conspiracy, I tell ya.

So I should just go ahead and trust my cable company, eh. May end up doing that, but trusting Comcast is counter-intuitive somehow.

Enjoy the warmth.

Glad to hear everything worked out for the best (?), I saw snow flurries for the first time ever-I don't like the cold, but it was interesting.

Kacey,
Hope you're settling in well and hope you and Jack are recuperating in the warm sun. Lucky buggers! It's freezing here in cold Canada with a storm warning for tomorrow...tons of snow expected.

I haven't seen real snow in a long time! I like warm weather but I think it's nice to have snow once in a while. Thank you for visiting my blog, and yes I have more horse blocks. I have always loved horses and so do my daughters. My in-laws have four horses that my girls ride when we visit. I did not know that quilt post was 16 months old, I found it because it came up when I had searched for quilts.
